SEN teaching assistant - Horley
£14,500 to £17,000 per annum
Mon - Fri (26 hours a week)
Starting ASAP or after the Easter holidays

This primary school is looking for a fun and friendly teaching assistant to work with KS2 students that require additional support. You will be responsible for working 1:1, in a small group and whole class settings with young learners, supporting them during their time at school. This school is looking for someone that is dedicated and enthusiastic towards this role and the learners. A successful candidate will need to have previous experience working in a similar role previously.

Supporting with classroom management, also setting up activities, preparing resources, and helping children on an individual basis
Running intervention programmes for small groups or individual children
Working with children with a EHCP or a learning difficulty
Some assessments and evaluations on progress levels of learners.
Managing behaviour in all lessons and around school

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Relevant child care experience
Be able to provide a child care reference
Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
Own transport could be an advantage due to the location
Eligibility to work in the UK
Previous experience working with children with special needs or behaviour issues may be useful
