Our client school received much praise in their last Ofsted report, which took them from 'Requires Improvement' to 'Outstanding', and this is a trend the school are obviously keen to see continue, through the careful selection of teachers to take up positions within the school.

The school are looking for a qualified teacher of Psychology, to start asap on a temporary basis. The position is for one day a week, and would suit someone with previous experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 5, or someone with relevant qualifications and obvious transferable skills. The ability to teach Sociology would also be looked on favourably.

The school is a relatively average sized secondary academy in the Chelmsford area. It has a small sixth form, and strong links with the local community. It benefits from a new building, built within the last 5 years, so facilities are modern and complete. The curriculum is broad and allows students to make informed choices, while at the same time receiving effective advice about careers and higher education options.
