Product Conformance Technician

Are you a Quality technician? Have you worked within the automotive industry or another fast-paced manufacturing environment? Have you completed an apprenticeship or ONC? If your answers are yes, this is the role for you!

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Product Conformance technician in Newton Aycliffe. Our client, a global automotive manufacturing business, is looking for a Product Conformance technician to support Quality Engineers in maintaining company quality standards on the production line.

As a Product Conformance technician, you will:

* Conduct regular product and process audits.
* Ensure shift operators adhere to quality elements of the Standard Operating Procedures.
* Identify product and process non-conformities.
* Communicate quality data to manufacturing teams
* Assist Quality Engineers in resolution of internal and customer concerns.
* Support Quality Engineers in maintaining/ achieving KPI's.
* Alongside a Quality engineer, visit customer and supplier locations to resolve issues.
* Utilise core quality tools (Ishikawa, Histograms, Pareto, Scatter Diagrams etc).
* Assist with product testing.

Experience/ Qualifications:

* Minimum requirement: Apprenticeship or ONC in an engineering-related discipline.
* Previous experience in a quality role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of metal forming and fabrication processes.
