Are you a Planner with experience on major Civil engineering projects? Would you like to work for a tier 1 main contractor?

We are searching for a Planner to work on a freelance basis for the next 18 months delivering RC, Piling and temporary works packages, previous experience in this area is essential and ideal candidates shall interview immediately.

Roles and responsibilities:



* Advising and assisting with planning, programming, methods of construction and problem resolving
* Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities and undertakings on all matters relating to planning and programming
* Ensuring the appraisal and co-ordination of all subcontractor's programmes and feedback to them on changing main programme information
* To prepare and present reports on programme and progress of all aspects of the project, and to attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings
* Working in a team to develop and maintain a project plan with a 3 month look ahead and update plan according to impacts and changes in construction and progress.

Candidate requirements:



* Degree in Civil engineering or equivalent
* Experience using Primavera P6 planning software
* Ability to communicate the planning strategy for the project to the wider team
* Experience working on large projects for tier 1 contractors
* Previously worked as a site engineer and progressed into Planning
