Pensions Administrator - Glasgow

Are you an organised and professional Pensions administrator who will provide service to clients and customers in an accurate, efficient and timely manner within a growing team. Working on a 6 month initial contract my client is looking for experienced pensions administrator's.

Salary; £10.00 - £11.90 per hour
Contract Duration; 6 Months
Location; Glasgow

As a Pensions administrator , your main responsibilities will include:
- To ensure delivery to a high standard of day to day client service to include: ad-hoc requirements / reports, scheme and member events
- To plan, prioritise and deliver administration activities assigned for own portfolio of client(s)
- To write and update scheme specific procedure manuals, rules and documentation in line with any changes
- To participate in, and be accountable for, continuous professional and personal development including keeping up to date with statutory obligations and relevant FSA guidelines and legislation
- To participate in client visits / presentations
- To comply with corporate requirements including SOX controls and the companies Data Security policy

As a Pensions administrator your skills and qualifications will include;
- Relevant experience with exposure to technical issues relating to pension scheme legislation coupled with a good understanding of data protection, Inland Revenue Limits, rules and regulations and recent legislative changes.
- Familiar with Microsoft applications and how they interact together. Good working knowledge of Profund or alternative administration system.
- Ability to establish/demonstrate a good working knowledge of internal procedures and processes and operating principles.
- Have experience in the transfer of technical knowledge to more junior staff.
- Good standard of general education (GCSE/A level or equivalent) to include a high level of numeracy and literacy.

I would be keen to speak with experienced Pensions administrator who have a good understanding of pension schemes and is looking a new exciting opportunity within Insurance.
