Are you a dynamic maths teacher, looking to make an impact at a good school where students make good progress? Do you display consistent quality in your teaching, assessment and marking?

The School:

*A larger-than-average secondary school in the Braintree area with a sixth form on site
*Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is promoted and clearly evident in school life
*Behaviour is outstanding and students feel completely safe within the school
*Excellent relationships with parents, carers and the community

Responsibilities:

*Teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4, with A Level teaching a definite advantage
*Providing consistently good and outstanding lessons
*Using performance information accurately to set work at the right level for all students
*Mark students work regularly and give thorough feedback to students to enable them to progress their learning

Requirements:

The successful candidate will need to:

*Be a qualified teacher of Maths with a track record of improving attainment of students
*Have thorough subject knowledge and use effective questioning to challenge to most able students
*Have good classroom control and the ability to keep pupils engaged and on task
