The Randstad Education branch in Chester is currently recruiting for a Maths NQT for a secondary school based in Chester. The school is looking for a committed individual with good behaviour management and high expectations of students results to begin with. The school are hoping for the ideal candidate to begin in September 2018 but would like them to spend some time in the school in July, before the end of term.

You will be expected to build strong working relationships with staff, parents and pupils to ensure you are a positive ambassador for the school.

The successful candidate will:

* Newly Qualified teacher (NQT) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
* Be an outstanding and innovative classroom practitioner who can lead and enthuse students
* Be able to provide sufficient references from your school placements
* Have excellent organisational and communication skills, with an eye for detail
* Exude a passion for learning and a driving ambition for every learner to progress
* Creative approach to teaching as well as being flexible and adaptable


* To plan and deliver schemes of work that meets the requirements of KS3/4
* To set an example to students and be a role model
* Prioritise and management your time effectively
* To maintain excellent behaviour management and follow the schools policies
* Teach high quality lessons consistently
* Work as part of team and attend meetings when required
